About Us
We come from the idyllic village of Lom pod Storžič, Slovenia, safely located in the shelter of the mountains, which gives us a unique character.
As a mountain family, we have more than 40 years of experience in alpinism and over 30 years of experience in pitons and anchors manufacturing. At first, we made them more boutique – only for our use: in those days they were mostly pitons with a ring. Soon, the idea of serial production came up. Since we had enough knowledge and technology in metalworking, we started serial production.
Over the years, we have expanded our gear collection, so that we now offer the entire range of anchors/pitons that the alpinist needs in the wall. Furthermore, we manufacture a whole range of bolting gear for out- and indoor climbing walls.
In the days when I started climbing myself, pitons were not affordable for everyone, because they were expensive. My main goal was to manufacture a good quality piton, suitable for use and affordable for everyone.
It is recommended that a well-driven piton shouldn’t be knocked out, because this damages the crack and the piton itself. Therefore, it is better to leave it in the crack, where it will serve the fellow climbers who will come after us.
The price of the piton is comparable to the price of one beer, so you shouldn’t be sorry to leave it in the crack.

Pitons – Plates – Anchors
In our Slovenian mountains and those of our neighbors, the limestone structure of the rock dominates. Unfortunately, it doesn’t offer many possibilities for the use of movable belays, so pitons driven into the rock cracks are mostly used for protection when climbing. The size and width of the cracks are different, so the pitons also vary in size and thickness accordingly.
We follow three goals when designing and manufacturing our climbing gear: safety, functionality, and simplicity. At the same time, we achieve the high-quality standards of European regulations and technical standards.
